  Children Education Allowance and Hostel Subsidy Key Points The reimbursement of Children Education Allowance/Hostel subsidy can be claimed only for the  two eldest surviving children  with the exception that in case the second child birth results in twins/multiple birth. The amount for reimbursement of Children Education allowance will be  2250/- per month  (fixed) per child. This amount of Rs.2250/- is fixed irrespective of the actual expenses incurred by the Govt. CENTRAL CIVIL SERVICES (LEAVE) RULES, 1972 1. Short title and commencement: (1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972. (2) They shall come into force on the  1st day of June, 1972 . 2.
